Terms of use

Effective 1 January 2026. These terms govern access to Nectar, an informational editorial website based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

1. Acceptance

By using the site you agree to these terms and applicable Indonesian law. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. We may update the terms with a dated notice.

2. Informational purpose

Articles are general education and are not medical, diagnostic, legal or financial advice. Do not use a page to delay urgent care or replace an individual assessment. Your decisions remain your responsibility.

3. Editorial content

We aim for accurate, balanced writing and correct material errors when identified. A publication date does not mean every circumstance has been covered. Readers should consider current professional guidance.

4. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, scrape it abusively, upload harmful code or impersonate another person. You may read and share links for lawful personal and educational purposes.

5. Intellectual property

Text, design and original marks belong to Nectar or its licensors. Short quotations with attribution are permitted. Reproduction of substantial sections requires written permission from [email protected].

6. Third-party links

Links are provided for context, not endorsement. Nectar does not control external content, availability, privacy practices or safety. Review the terms of any third-party service you visit.

7. Contact submissions

You confirm that information submitted is lawful and does not violate another person's rights. We may retain correspondence as described in the privacy policy and may decline requests that are unsafe or irrelevant.

8. Events

Event details may change for safety, venue or scheduling reasons. Registration does not create a clinical relationship. Participants should disclose relevant limitations to the appropriate professional.

9. Availability

We try to keep the site available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network faults and events outside our control may temporarily affect pages or forms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nectar is not responsible for loss resulting from reliance on general information, external links or interruptions. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Disputes should first be raised with our editorial desk so the parties can attempt a practical resolution.

12. Changes

Version history: 1 January 2026, initial terms; 1 August 2026, clarified event and user-submission language. The current version is the one displayed on this page.

These terms apply to visitors, contributors, event participants and people who contact the Nectar team, whether they use a desktop browser, mobile device or an assistive technology. Some pages may contain additional instructions, and those instructions form part of the terms for that particular feature. If a conflict appears, the more specific page instruction applies only to that feature, while the remaining terms continue unchanged.

Access is provided for lawful reading, discussion and linking. Automated access must remain proportionate and must not burden the service, bypass security controls, collect personal information, or reproduce the publication as a competing archive. We may suspend technical access where necessary to protect readers, infrastructure or the integrity of correspondence, while considering a reasonable explanation of an error or misunderstanding.

For submissions, please use information you are entitled to share and remove unnecessary personal details about other people. Nectar may edit a message for clarity, decline publication and retain the correspondence under the privacy policy; sending a message does not transfer ownership of unrelated rights. Any permission granted for a quotation should be understood narrowly and does not make Nectar responsible for the sender's independent claims.

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or to Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro No. 88, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10310, Indonesia. We aim to acknowledge a substantive query within 10 business days. Updates are dated and take effect when posted; the version effective 1 January 2026 is reviewed during 2026, with material changes described in a notice where practical.

These terms cover visitors using a browser, contributors sending correspondence, participants registering for an event and anyone linking to public Nectar pages. Feature-specific instructions may apply to a form or event and should be read with these terms. If a provision is unclear, the narrower interpretation should be used for that feature rather than extending it to unrelated parts of the site.

Lawful personal and educational use includes reading, printing a reasonable excerpt and sharing a direct link with attribution. It does not include bulk copying, abusive automated requests, bypassing access controls or collecting another person's information without permission. We may restrict technical access when conduct risks the availability, security or privacy of the service.

Contact submissions should avoid unnecessary medical history, identity documents, payment details and information about other people. Nectar may retain a message for up to 24 months after the last meaningful exchange, investigate a safety or security concern and decline a request that is unlawful or unrelated. A submission is not a promise of publication, representation or professional advice.

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or to Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro No. 88, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat 10310, Indonesia. We aim to acknowledge a substantive query within 10 business days and provide a reasoned response within 30 calendar days where a response is appropriate. The current version took effect on 1 January 2026 and will be reviewed by 31 December 2026.
